Sympathy card/painting- Final watercolor

About process:

Previous sketch, transfer to watercolor paper- Used somber colors to depict nostalgia/quiet and warm feeling; sadness but hope too.
The meaning is pretty self-explainitory; I listened to soft piano music while I painted this;

about 6-7 hours straight total including sketching. From my imagination. (probably shouldve used a refference -but not enough time to.)

So watery... and yet there's a smack of ham to it.
references not needed. you've drawn/painted everything perfectly the way it needs to be. its beautiful!
it's beautiful. if only it wasn't under such sad circumstances.

thank you, they were very pleased with it too!
Beautiful work! I love the colors and how you were able to make the paper folds look realistic. :)

I don't know what feedback I can offer...

I really admire the lines in the music sheets and piano keys. What technique/what brushes did you use to get those? If I tried that the lines would bleed into the paper, or be too heavy and dark.

Bullshit is only laudable amongst those who bullshit, and know it, and are full enough of it to be amused.
