"Let's Dance"! Painting I just finished; Working on a series of fairy tale themed works with a Theatrical flair
These are the same two characters in "mozart finds his muse"
So busy with comics and teaching cartooning- painting a little bit every night's a nice repose from doing solely linework.
I had this idea in mind for several years but only until recently did I realize how to finally put it down on paper.
Photoshop used for drop shadow, everything else is traditional watercolor, luma concentrated watercolor, and copic marker. Original is about 24X20 inches
Please let me know how I can improve; Although I know there are flaws, I am still happy with it but know I can become better with every effort thanks for your input!
Ok, I'd say this is perfect, so many details it's amazing, but you can rethink their hand-size, their a tad too bug, but for cartoon-ish purposes this is amazing you deserve a DD and SOON! Before I die.
That's beautiful ^^ I love masquerades The details and colour choices are lovely ^^

The girl's face looks a lot like yours. Lovely colors and composition. It's a bit too ornated to me, but it's still very beautiful.

religion would be ok if we practiced what we preached. 98% of teenagers smoke or have tried smoking pot. If you are one of the 2% who realizes that this is statistical bullshit, put this in your siggy. ^^
My only suggestion is that his right arm (the one closest to the viewer, on the left) looks a bit odd because of slightly inaccurate foreshortening. You may want to bend his upper arm some, just because the straight vertical you've given it makes him look a little stiff.
Everything else is awesome, though. I love this one!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
