This is old!! I wanted to post this because it's the same Idea I painted for my characters way back in 2000; Almost 10 years have passed and it's neat to see the progression, change in vision, and style!

I would like to incorporate elements of this past style and color into my new work; the collage and airbrush techniques.


I used to only draw anime style as you can see! :) I'm coming into my own style now, but still have the same inspirations and love of fairy tales :)

I didn't practice when I was younger, so now I'm trying to catch up... but it's a lot harder trying when you're older...

It's always hilarious seeing people's years-old anime art, especially if they've since moved on to develop their own style. My school friend *talaith and I both used to do it a lot, so we looked at each others' old sketchbooks and were able to marvel at how far we've come :) Like you said, a lot of the same inspiration is still there, it's just that we've found a more apt visual vocabulary to express it. I think you have too!
