Idea I had for a story, a different take on Cinderrella; He finds her out of so many others. I hope it makes sense :) I'm not sure if it's finished yet, the background I thought needs more work;
a semi-romantic piece in time for St. V's day!

critique welcomed; illustrative watercolor pieces like this are the most challenging for me; there is much information I wanted to communicate without losing the main focus on the two characters.

Using more neutral colors for the background helped the foreground characters to stand out; but I dont wish to use a formula like that every time.

Well, I spent probably 10 hours on this one; although it's imperfect I am still somewhat satisfied; even though it's not exactly as I imagined it would be.

Aww! This is sweet.

I like how she is more demure, more modestly dressed, and less fashionably attractive than the other women. it makes something about her more special.

It's amazing, and nothing is perfect.
This is very well done and I love all the atmosphere and the cuteness in this.
The only thing I might critique is that the hand on his back looks weird, that's all, but it's still such a magnificent image! :blowkiss:

This is absolutely gorgeous- the vibrant colors on the main characters is beautiful. I'm particularly fond of the red you used for his jacket. :heart:

This is a really neat idea. I'd love to have a room full of old pianos and harpsichords. Wow, I really like this one. I have to keep on stopping my typing to scroll up to look at it. :)

Oh I love this!! The detail, the colors, it all comes together so nicely, she is beautiful, the piano is beautiful, the papers flying around at the bottom... :heart:

One thing in particular I love is that her colors are so much brighter and she just stands out, as if she outshines all the rest. :aww: It's too sweet.
